CALL FOR VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBERS!
Community Living North Grenville empowers people with intellectual disabilities to live, learn, work and participate in their community. We believe that, “all people should be respected, valued and included”.
Community Living North Grenville is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected at our Annual General Meeting, Our Annual General Meeting is held in June, however, as we begin our 2022-2023 season the Board is seeking volunteers to fill existing Board vacancies.
Our Board members include advocates, professionals, parents, and other interested residents of North Grenville and area. Previous Board experience, familiarity with and interest in the developmental sector are assets. We are strongly encouraging applicants from diverse communities to apply.
Board members are elected to a two-year term and are expected to attend eight to ten Board meetings per year. Board members may also be expected to sit on a Board committee with a further commitment of four to six meetings per year.
Interested individuals may submit an expression of interest. The expression of interest should include a letter outlining your interest and relevant competencies. Please submit your expression of interest to the email address below, or contact the office for further information.
